Our Privacy Pledge to You, Our Customer

We respect your privacy. We do not sell, rent, or loan any identifiable information regarding our customers to any third party. Any information you give us is held with the utmost care and security. The only exceptions are when we drop ship products to you directly from one of our suppliers, in this case the supplier is given only the shipping address, contact and phone number if required by the shipping carrier, when we process your payment through Paypal we must give them your name address payment information and sometimes email and or phone number, also when creating shipping labels we must give our shipper your name address and sometimes email and or phone number.

Credit card orders placed on our site are encrypted using SSL technology, so rest assured that your transactions are protected. With SSL implemented on both the client and server, information sent via the Internet can be trusted to arrive privately and unaltered to our server only. 30 Day USA Warranty Repair/Replacement Policy

We take great pride in our reputation for quality. If, however, the product we sell you becomes defective and we are notified in writing or via phone of the defect within 30 days from original invoice date unless otherwise stated. We will at our discretion either repair the product or exchange it for another of the exact same product. Products returned to us for warranty repair or exchange must be received by us in the same condition they were shipped to you, with all the same packaging, components, add-on modules, instructions, etc..

Due to the high cost of overseas shipping. Warranty, if any, on international shipments is determined on an order by order basis.

To Return an Item to Us Under Warranty

Notify your salesman of the defective product within 30 days of original invoice date via email address sales@4drives.com. Pack your merchandise securely, our warranty does not include damaged products returned for repair or replacement due to improper packaging. If a product is received by us for repair or replacement that has been damaged beyond repair due to improper packaging you will be charged for that product and it\'s replacement. Include a copy of our original invoice or packing slip, with a note reminding us of the defect. Send the package via a traceable shipping method to: Discount Computer Peripherals, Inc. Charges on Warranty Repair/Replacements

Repair/Replacements

If you are returning defective products for a warranty replacement or credit, you are responsible for the cost of returning it to us. After we receive the product and determine it is defective we will either repair or replace the product and ship it to you FedEx ground or USPS Mail at no additional charge. Upgraded shipping methods are available to return the product to you for an additional non refundable charge. A separate invoice will be generated by us with the same payment terms as the original invoice for the additional upgraded shipping charges. If the product cannot be repaired and no replacement is available we will credit you the amount of the original invoice minus shipping charges.

Advance Replacements

If you absolutely cannot wait the time period required to return the product to us and then us ship you a repair or replacement we can at your expense offer to ship you an advance replacement of the exact same product. A separate invoice will be generated by us to be paid by credit card only. This will appear as a second credit card charge and upon receipt of the defective part (s), within 30 days of the original invoice date, and inspection by us of the original defective product a credit will be issued in the amount of the invoice for the advance replacement parts minus any shipping charges. Absolutely no credits will be given for the original defective products not received within 30 days of the original invoice date.

Returns for Credit

It is at our total discretion whether to accept a return for credit at all. Please email us at sales@4drives.com to discuss a possible return for credit. We must be notified in writing of your desire and reasons for returning the product for credit within 10 days from the date you received it. If we approve a return for credit after our review of your reasons for returning the product and after the product is received by us within 20 days of the original invoice date in the same condition it was shipped to you, undamaged, with all the same packaging, components, add-on modules, instructions, etc.. a credit will be issued for the original invoice minus a 30% restocking fee and minus the original shipping charge. If you are returning merchandise for a credit, you are responsible for the cost of returning the product to us via a traceable shipping method within 20 days of the original invoice date. Absolutely no refunds or credits will be given for returned products not first approved by our salesman or not received within 20 days of the original invoice date. Shipping charges are not refundable under any circumstance!

Damages caused by products we sell

You the customer are responsible for and strongly encouraged to perform proper re-testing of parts before installation. We do not manufacture any of the products we sell and are not responsible for any damages they may cause. You agree that any claims for any damage caused by any products we sell will be filed solely with or against the original manufacturer of the product and will not involve Discount Computer Peripherals, Inc. in any way.
